Scenes from the Futurewar universe

On this page you'll find images that try to help you imagining the world of Futurewar - scenes from battles, location & level concept art.

This was the first piece of concept art created for the mod - to enhance the presentation of the design outline for the public. On the left side is the underlying drawing, as you might see of miserable quality because if wasn't scanned, but photographed with a digital camera to later evolve into the image on the right... oh and yes, the perspective in some areas of the image is not quite right. ;)

The image above is a first concept sketch for a subway station, one of the most important and unique locations in the Futurewar mod. As you can see it tries to show all the gameplay and user communication elements necessary inside the subway startion: a control panel to switch the station team affiliation, a city map, station location name, train tracks open and closed, with the names of the next stations the train can travel from there on the respective wall.
